"What's My Scene" is a song by Australian rock group Hoodoo Gurus from their album Blow Your Cool!, written by lead singer Dave Faulkner. It reached number 3 in Australia and in January was ranked number 67 on Triple M's "Ozzest ", the 'most Australian' songs of all time. The B-side, "Heart of Darkness" was also written by Faulkner. The single was re-released in by Mushroom A-side: "What's My Scene?".

Like most bands, Australia's Hoodoo Gurus were largely the product of their influences; unlike most bands, however, the Hoodoos channeled their inspiration from the vast entirety of the American pop cultural landscape, drawing on such disparate sources as B-movies, bad sitcoms, and junk food -- in tandem with the usual suspects like garage rock, power pop, and surf -- to create a distinctly.

What's My Scene Lyrics: And another thing I've been wondering lately / Oh, baby, tell me, where have you been? / Now the stage is set, where's my Juliet, baby? / Is it maybe my Midsummer Night's Dream.

If there was ever any doubt that the Hoodoo Gurus were one of the best unknown rock acts of the s and early '90s, then this compilation should clear that up. At a whopping 40 tracks -- culled from every Gurus album and including all the hits -- Ampology is an energetic, comprehensive portrait of this Australian pop/rock outfit.
